About me

I am a qualified Clinical Therapist and I have extensive experience in working with individuals and couples both long-term and short-term struggling with many different issues.

I am an Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I abide by their ethical framework for good practice.

About Me

I am also fully qualified Trauma Focused Therapist and have extensive experience and a demonstrated history of working with a wide range of client issues. I work in private practice in Carlisle and offer online sessions where I offer a warm, safe and confidential space.

My way of working has roots in The Person Centred Approach, this means I respect the uniqueness of you and aim to work at a pace that is right for you, where you can focus on what is important to you.

I have a significant interest in working in the recovery of trauma; and I have worked primarily with people who have endured the trauma of rape, childhood sexual abuse / exploitation and domestic violence for over 14 years.
